Ask the Experts: How is NeuCo Developing the Optimizers?
John McDermott
VP, Product Management
NeuCo, Inc
Thursday, July 30, 2009

At our recent Users Summit, ProcessLink® users had a chance to ask our panel of experts their burning optimization questions. A few of the questions they asked come up quite often, and I thought I’d share one of those questions here.

We highlight this Q&A and others in NeuCo’s upcoming newsletter. So watch your email boxes over the next few weeks for the Summer 2009 edition of OPTions.

Q: What are NeuCo’s plans for future versions of the optimizers? Can you give us any sneak previews of what we can expect?

Users are testing Version 2.5 now. We expect to roll it out to all of our customers within the next several months.

Our focus for this new version has been on improving overall product performance. For example, screens come up significantly faster in Version 2.5 than earlier versions.

With MaintenanceOpt®, we’ve added flexibility to the way you can organize and view alerts. For example, you can now filter alerts by equipment. With PerformanceOpt®, we’ve tripled the number of triggers.

Meanwhile our Product Development group already has Version 2.6 on the drawing board.  Reporting will be a major focus of Version 2.6.
