Announcing NeuCo's Plant Optimization Tour
Peter Spinney
Market and Technology Assessment
NeuCo, Inc.
Wednesday, September 2, 2009

I’m sorry that it’s taken me more than two weeks to post a new blog. After Coal-Gen, I got caught up customer site visits, a backlog of emails & voicemails and of course, summer vacation.  But now that summer has “officially” ended and September is here I’m excited to announce a new opportunity that NeuCo’s developing; The Plant Optimization Tour

Similar to our annual Users Summits, these 2-day site visits will enable NeuCo customers and others interested in our ProcessLink® technology to visit showcase sites with different boiler types and operational challenges every two to three months throughout the year.  Each site will highlight specific project implementation strategies and showcase how the users are benefiting from NeuCo products.

Following an informal (and might I add very productive) event at Ameren’s Meramec plant in July, the first official Optimization Tour will be held at Xcel’s Tolk plant near Lubbock, Texas on October 7th & 8th, 2009. Day 1 will consist of the Tolk project overview and background and Day 2 will tour the Tolk Station in Muleshoe, TX with group discussions featuring project personnel.

I can’t think of a better example of a hands-on technology benefits than having it defined from the end user himself.  In an increasingly technology-driven world there’s clearly still no replacement for that type of personal contact.

If you’d like a detailed agenda emailed to you, please email us at info@neuco.net.   Otherwise, contact your NeuCo Account representative for more information on the upcoming Plant Tour.
